Palet is a job board for creative roles. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use palet.so, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it to what we actually do — no boilerplate we don't mean.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the board and stay in touch with people who ask us to:

  • Account details — if you create an account, your email address and a hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text). Google sign-in shares your email and basic profile with us instead.
  • Newsletter — the email address you give us for The Sunday Palette, and whether you subscribed from sign-up or the footer.
  • Saved jobs — the roles you save while signed in, tied to your account.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, searches, and interactions, collected through analytics (see the Cookie Policy) to understand and improve the product.

How we use it

To provide the service (your account, saved jobs, and sign-in), to send the newsletter if you opted in, to understand which roles and features people find useful, and to keep the board secure and free of abuse. We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal data — ever. We share it only with the service providers that make Palet run, acting on our instructions: our hosting providers, our analytics provider (PostHog), and our email provider for transactional and newsletter mail (Resend). When you apply to a role, you leave Palet for the hiring company's own site — anything you submit there is governed by that company's privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies & analytics

We use a strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics to understand usage — including session replay, with input fields masked. Full detail, and how to opt out, is in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in every email. To make a request, email [email protected] and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

How long we keep it

We keep account data for as long as your account is active, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Delete your account or unsubscribe and we remove the associated personal data, except where we're required to retain something to meet a legal obligation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you directly. Questions? Email [email protected].
